Review of Two Days, One Night (2014) by Sam D — 30 Mar 2015
Saw the film on Netflix with 4 friends, and we found it engrossing, a bit sad, and yet illuminating as the 'hero' Cotillard, and her loving and supportive husband help her reset her life away from a spiraling depression.
Very straightford, and minimalist in nature, the film happily lacks all the junk that are part of american films, flashy editing, music scores, bad language, and a lack of understanding for most of the characters that inhabit their films.
Cotillard is always amazing.
