Review of Two Days, One Night (2014) by Talhalafci — 17 Jan 2015
Sandra, a struggling young mother who has only one weekend to visit all of her workmates and convince them to vote for her to keep her job by giving up their bonuses. It's a quiet simple idea, but Dardenne Brothers turned this idea into a great script and that script is brought to life by Marion Cotillard extraordinarily. What a phenomenal performance!
As the film proceeds we see Sandra's growing exhaustion and disappointment as well as hope and happiness that can go into pieces any moment.
