Review of Two Brothers (1926) by Ram M — 29 Sep 2004
First off, i'll be truthful here and accept that I'm an animal lover. I'm also a vegetarian and hence my views may be a little biased..
.
Ok, on to the movie....
.
Two brothers is a very emotional tale of two brothers, one is a circus performer while the other is a trained killer. The catch? They're both tigers!.
.
The tigers get separated when they're young and the emotional turmoil of what they undergo in captivity is brilliantly potrayed..
.
Full marks to the tigers for their riveting performance (their expressions are so real!). I'd also not be doing justice if I do not mention Guy Pearce who delivers an amazing performance as the Hunter..
.
No prizes for guessing what happens at the end. .
.
I really do wonder why such movies are not taken more often. As I said earlier, "Two Thumbs UP, way up!".
.
MY Rating : 10/10 :fresh: (wish I could give more!!).
