Review of Twixt (2011) by Benne S — 27 Nov 2012
Twixt is a 2011 horror film written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The plot comes to Baltimore Hall, writer of horror novels, during a promotional tour for his book arrives in the town of Swan Valley.
Here the sheriff Bob LeGrange, a great admirer, tells a story for a book that would want to do along with Hall. The story is about the death of a 12 year old girl killed by a wooden stake driven into the heart.
That same little girl named Virginia, appears in a dream to Hall. To understand the film must be transported from the visual style and the storytelling. The great director Coppola which we propose a very interesting film on several points of view and can be interpreted in many ways.
