Review of Twitches (2005) by Gustav M — 16 Mar 2007
Another ridiculously unworthy-of-a-viewing Disney Channel Original Movie, about two idiot twin girls who were split up as babies and grew up in different environments, who realise they come from a distant magical land and have powers, which they must use to overcome the evil 'darkness' that is spreading danger across their homeland.
The name alone is enough to drive you away. Some of the acting and jokes, that have become a necessity to be lame and unfunny for these DCOM movies, are just that. Lame and funny. Though, this time, to the power of infinity and irredeenably so.
The mowry sisters play the underwhelming main characters who discover they are sisters (and they take it all to well and quick to be convincing), and then somehow figure out that they alone can stop the evil shadows across their magical kingdom.
Utterly ridiculous, unfunny, uninspired and so very boring, it is strictly for young brainless morons who have no capacity to be able to have this crass rebound off their heads with no damage done.
