Open Water.

Neat concept that just doesn't pull anything off. Basicly half the movie is them just sitting in a hotel or on the boat, and the other half of this extremely short movie is just a shaky cam and them yelling and gasping in the ocean. "Something burshed up against my leg!" Oh please shut up already.

Taking Lives.

HORRIBLE. Tries to rip off Se7en in every way but fails. The ending is stupid and is not smart. Spare yourself and do not see this.

Catch Me If You Can.

I?ve watched Catch Me If You Can, many, many times, and it never fails to deliver. It?s just so entertaining, and fun to watch. The whole movie is very glamorous, especially visually. I heard someone once compare the movie to ?champagne?, which is a great analogy. However, at the same time it is a very sad story, essentially about a young man who feels alienated and lost. All the performances are great, the direction from Spielberg is top grade (as usual), the John Williams score is just perfectly suited. For me, this is an endlessly entertaining movie. I?ve seen it something like ten times now, and it never ceases to thoroughly engage and charm me.

Twisted.

Taking Lives? Twisted? What's with these horrible crime movies of late. Are movie studios pumping them out because of the CSI crime type shows fad? This is just dumb, and the entire time I KNEW who did it. Seriously I was willing to bet 5 bucks on it with my dad but he didn't want to. Most of the movie is just Ashely Judd fainting after drinking wine.
