Review of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) by Dustin L — 11 Feb 2010
WOW!!! After finally finishing the series I had to jump to the movie. The series was amazing...easily one of the greatest series I have ever watched. The movie is a look at the last days of Laura Palmer.
One of the best things about the film is the way David Lynch kept with his wierdness that you are so used to seeing in his other movies. I being a fan of Lynch do appreciate that. The movie answered a lot of questions that the series left me with.
It filled in some holes that the series didn't show...I believe Lynch does this on purpose I might add. There are certain scenes in particular that I loved especially. But I can't get into those because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else that may not have finished the series or watched the movie yet.
..my good buddy Ross. ;) Anyways...unless you have watched the series Twin Peaks this movie won't make sense and unless you are a fan of David Lynch or bizarre or weird films you won't enjoy the series or the movie.
But many people out there like me enjoy Lynch and weird movies and I reccomend this utterly brilliant series and movie to you. You will not be disappointed and you will be constantly thinking about this series and movie long after you have finished watching it.
