Review of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) by Nathan C — 20 Oct 2007
Missing the Rod Serling touch...the John Landis segment (the tragic one...Vic Morrow...RIP) has the strongest TZ feel of the bunch. The rest feel like they were taken from AMAZING STORIES instead and Lithgow is no Shatner (whose segment is missing that all important back story of a nervous breakdown that added extra paranoia to the tension).
The transfer on the new DVD is nice though, and Goldsmith's score is good.
