Review of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) by Sean C — 23 May 2009

It is my opinion that the Twilight Zone was one of if not the best TV show ever. When I was younger, I was always ambivalent towards this movie because I didn't like the idea of other directors messing with the stories.

Now, I've finally watched it, I am a little more tolerant. I liked John Landis' story at the beginning. This is the one where Vic Morrow actually get killed during the making of it. I didn't really care for Steven Spielberg's second story.

A little too sentimental and typical of him. Joe Dante's story was not bad, but I liked George Miller's story best. This was actually one of my favourite episodes which starred William Shatner in the role that Lithgow is playing.

He's really good, by the way. In the end, it isn't that bad, but I would much rather just watch the old episodes of the show.
