Review of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) by Don S — 22 Jul 2011
This was somewhat enjoyable but nothing special or really memorable. I tried to recall the stories before rewatching it and came up empty. I liked the prologue with Ackroyd, always enjoy seeing his wife, Donna Dixon (a stewardess in the Miller entry), and none of the four was horrible. They just weren't memorable. The Spielberg entry with Scatman Carothers had the lightest tone of the four and had a bit of whimsy. Decent but not special and did not stand out from the others. You could tell which piece was a Landis story, Spielberg story, and Dante story. The Miller piece, the last one, was the most intense. An average movie on the whole.
