"No, seriously, pull over... you have to see this,".
There were several vignette-styled horror flicks in the eighties... this was nowhere near as scary as Creepshow or some of the others, but the opening scene was both clever and terrifying and the vignettes did pay moderate homage to 'Twilight Zone' of yesteryear (3 out of the 4 vignettes were based on original TV episodes).
