I remember some friends inviting me to see Twilight with them in theaters. I had no idea what I was in for, all I knew was that it was based on a book because I had been with a coworker when she went to buy the last book in the series.

The movie was a teenage scream fest. It was so ridiculous, but I could see something beneath the surface, and it inspired me to pick up the book. The book led me to buy the whole series of books. The acting didn't do the book justice, but obviously there was a hint at the great story, and it had an awesome soundtrack.
