Does this film even warrant a star? Let's be honest with ourselves for a minute folks. As wonderful as the novel is and as high as the hopes were for this movie, it completely and utterly failed. Yes, it follows the novel quite closely, which is why it is rewarded any stars at all, but really?! I'm baffled by how horribly written the script was and don't even get me started on the acting.
The acting is atrocious! I just don't understand the lack of talent considering the number of projects both the leads have under their belts. I can't help but dream of a remake. Dream of a new round up of cast and a better script to really to the saga justice.
Not this awful disappointment. I wanted so much to like this film, but the acting was just laughable to say the least.
