Review of Twentieth Century (1934) by Rich S — 10 Mar 2011
Some crazy over-the-top acting in this one, and really a stage-comedy about stage-actors. John Barrymore reminds me a lot of Kevin Kline as well as Gene Wilder, and this part a few decades later would have no doubt been played by Wilder.
Entertaining, but a little too long, could have been a bout 1/3rd shorter and had same effect.
