Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Vincent S — 07 Jun 2011
Quite an intense film, needs a viewer's concentration and attention since it gets really confusing when he jumps back on and off the past and the future. The screenplay is greatly written and the casts have its good rapport with each other.
This is another creative and imaginative futuristic movie when it was created that is. We haven't really invented the time machine at this age, but showing a possible future is quite fascinating. All the actors' acting was phenomenal.
However, all the time-machine-type of movies are starting to be all quite the same with just a different twist. Just like "Source Code" trying to solve a mystery in the past. Same goal, different path, but with all the geeky weirdness associated with it.
This is a film worth eating a large bucket of popcorn while watching it. Not bad at all especially when you know I love popcorn.
