It's hard to decide what the best part of this movie. I think it has to be the performances. Brad Pitt without a question gives the best performance, not to take away from Bruce willis or Madeleine Stowe, they are all great, but you see that Brad Pitt got a nomination for a reason.
The plot in and of itself is a little confusing at times, but by the end through all the twists and turns everything does make sense. Twelve Monkeys is an EXCELLENT science fiction movie, and probably one of the best one's I've seen to date.
If you are a science fiction fan and for some reason haven't seen this movie, you should go out and see it tomorrow. Truly a great film.
