Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Amanda H — 16 Jul 2012

I tried to watch this movie once when I was a teenager, and I couldn't get into it so I shut it off. I tried again today, many years later, thinking maybe now that I'm older I could appreciate it.

And... I shut it off again. It's just too slow-moving and formulaic for me to find it enjoyable. What I saw of Brad Pitt's performance was outstanding, but beyond that there was just nothing of interest for me.
