Though a great movie with fine performances by Willis and Pitt, 12 Monkeys is still far from being a masterpiece thanks to the predictable twist, predictable antagonist, and sudden change of heart from its annoying female lead.
Other than that, it's a great film to watch is you're into smart, sci-fi, psychological thrillers like this one.
