12 Monkeys is imaginative and full of twisted themes of memory, identity, dream sequence, and time travel. The plot's unfolding is slightly disfigured and shoddy but pulls it off just right. The performances are great and although the sets are designed well, there seems to be an odd mix of too much colour floating about.
Perhaps it's the lighting. Nevertheless, an enjoyable film.
