Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Michael O — 23 Mar 2013
Interesting variation on Chris Marker's short French Sci-fi masterpiece La Jatee. Bruce Willis is a "volunteer" who is sent back in time to stop a virus from being unleashed on the Earth eliminating most of the population and sending the survivors underground.
Might be confusing for some but intellectually stimulating fun for others. May not be Gilliam's best but it's very good and holds up very nicely.
