Review of Twelve Monkeys (1995) by Sugarfall S — 21 Aug 2014
I cannot deny that I am a DIE HARD Willis fan for no other reason than he's methodically earned every ounce of. Y respect and fandom from his first days on MOONLIGHTING when I was 15 to his current perfection in RED II.
Twelve monkeys may easily be one of he best movies ever made, best stories ever told, it's absolute immaculate perfection exceeded only by the sublime energy created by the madman and his psychiatrist as they race to undo history only to discover they have already sealed its fate and the path that leads them to first attempt to undo it at all.
..the great circle that LOOPER later tries to resell but with much less impeccable absolutes. Pitts madness is awesome to watch, Gillian's character amusing and the story unravels like life itself, messy and unspeakable.
Love this movie and everything about it.
