Review of Tusk (2014) by Skylar E — 28 Sep 2014
As a Kevin Smith fan, I absolutely love this movie. This is exactly the kind of messed up horror movie I would expect from the director of Clerks and Red State. That being said, is it a good movie? In the traditional sense, not at all.
The acting (besides a great performance from Micheal Parks) is sub-par and the scares are almost non-existent. The suit though, is one of the coolest and most disturbing things I have seen in awhile. I could never recommend Tusk to anyone, but did I have a blast watching it? You bet your ass I did!
