Dark and twisted proving that Kevin Smith is the next great horror/thriller director. This film makes you feel helpless and almost as if you are smothering. The make-up effects are quite as gross as I was expecting but they were very powerful.
Justin Long does his best Justin Long character as he does in most films. The real star of the show is Depp who is the quintessential stereotype of a Frenchman. Michael Parks in his villainous role as the serial killer is creepy and untrustworthy in every scene.
