Review of Tusk (2014) by Greg R — 26 Apr 2015
I surprisingly enjoyed this film. Mixing Kevin Smith's natural dialogue while also making an affectionate parody of body horror b movies surprisingly work well together. While Tusk plays like "The Human Centipede" (as Kevin Smith even admitted it himself), and while the third act is a bit problematic, as a classic Midnight monster body horror movies go, Tusk is a fresh, new start for Kevin Smith.
