Review of Tusk (2014) by Richard B — 08 Sep 2015

So I loved Kevin Smith's early films and watched them tons of times in high school. I do think many of his recent films have been a disappointment but I still always give him a shot; I enjoyed Red State even though it wasn't anything too special and looked forward to Tusk.

Here Kevin Smith really struggles with balancing comedy and horror and it's awkward at times. Also I know the film was made quickly and cheap, but the special effects are almost laughable at times.

I credit Kevin Smith for taking chances and risks, but really just want more Clerks and Mallrats.
