Review of Tusk (2014) by Daniel S — 12 Jan 2015
This is Kevin Smith's most cinematic film. It is also his film that truly contemplates the nature of film and life and how often their absurdity coincide. Loaded with nods to self-reflexive cinema theory and nods to reflecting on himself as a filmmaker, this film is both hauntingly funny, horrifying, and ridiculous.
