What we have is a character who doesn't seem to be too human when the movie starts. Then we see his girlfriend and his best friend re-affirm him that he has lost touch with his humanity. He finally ends up in the clutches of guy who hates all of humanity .
What do we have in the end? We learn that sometimes, in order to really be human, we have to be an animal before we get there. Overall, this is a pretty decent movie that isn't Kevin Smith's best, but it certainly may end up being one of his more memorable ones.
