I look at this film from the point of view of someone who's tired of horror films like The Conjuring or The Haunting in Connecticut; they're trite and always look like copycats of each other. Tusk is different from all that crap.
Sure it's crap itself, but it's good crap. It's crap that's fresh and original. The type of crap that lingers on. This film will irk you, and it will really, really gross you out in a good, satisfying way.
