Anyone can complain about the outlandish premise and ask why this was even made, but the fact of the matter is that Kevin Smith sought out to complete this movie and he executed his idea. Even though the movie is not as fast paced as it could have been, especially in the second half, and Johnny Depp's character is not nearly as entertaining as he could have been, for those on board with the premise, it's an enjoyable enough movie.
