Review of Tusk (2014) by Tom T — 18 May 2017
Okay, think The Human Centipede film with lots of humors here and you got yourself Tusk. This is a weird, disturbing, and uneven horror/drama/comedy film filled with silly and dark humors with unique concept that may not appeal to everyone's taste.
Though I must say the revealing of Justin Long as Walrus had me covering my mouth with quite a shock that had me cheerfully shouting Walrus YES! afterward. Really cool looking yet very creepy, SCARY, and gleefully disturbing at the same time.
The film may not be that GORY but it's still gross and will likely satisfy horror fans with its Walrus transformation result. Overall, if you are looking for a weird horror film in the similar style as The Human Centipede with a touch of comedy then Kevin Smith's Tusk is probably the right film for you as it is a Walrus Yes! for me [B].
