Review of Turtles Can Fly (2004) by Jessica P — 30 Jul 2007
I have only seen this in Japanese at a forum for peace held in the little town of Akita in the middle of nowhere Japan. What is so gripping about this movie is that the actors are actual victims of the war and were brave enough to re-enact their pain again on screen.
This truly is the most poignant anti-war movie out there.I left this movie feeling that if every man woman and child could see this movie, then, maybe just then the arms trade would end.
