Review of Turtles Can Fly (2004) by Sandy H — 20 Apr 2008
Taking place in Kurdish Iran 3 weeks before USA started bombing Iraq, the film focuses on the lives of orphaned children surviving by selling landmines they take the chance to disengage and believing the armless boy's psychic predictions.
Roger Ebert said that he wishes everyon in the US would see this movie, especially those in the White House to see the devastation of lives war causes.
