Review of Turtles Can Fly (2004) by Keith C — 27 Jun 2008
Turtles Can Fly is an interesting picture of life in a Kurdish town on the border with Turkey that makes you think about the lingering effects of war and outside influences.. but its plot is somewhat lacking.
The characters were very deeply developed, and it definitely was moving, but I wish it had more of a story to drive it along.
