Review of Turtles Can Fly (2004) by Janet F — 29 Jan 2010
Interesting movie examining the lives of children, many orphaned refugees, living on the border between Turkey and Iraq, immediately before the most the American invasion. Very realistic, with moments of humor and haunting pathos.
Short on plot, but worth seeing nonetheless.
