Probably Pixar’s Least Kid Friendly Film.
Turning Red is one of Pixar’s most controversial films to date and you can definitely see why. The story is basically an allegory about puberty, There’s many not so subtle non-family friendly references like Stripper Music, Erotic fanart, And Tampons. That out of the way (And those aren’t criticisms of mine), Turning Red while on the high tier of Middle-Tier Pixar, Is another strong entry into Pixar’s lineup with Beautiful animation, Likeable characters, Absolutely hilarious humor, And a great handling of the subject of puberty and growing up.
