Review of Turner & Hooch (1989) by Jason G — 17 Mar 2010
Here we have another great movie that reaks of the 80's! Although this movie is not the greatest comedy ever made, it will make you laugh or at least shake your head in disgust. I must admit the concept was pretty good but the ending was predictable.
This has always been a favorite of mine because I just love Hooch! I literally love that breed of dog I have had them in the past, but mind you they did not eat my FUCKING CAR INTERIOR or slobber all over the place! Tom Hanks is a clean freak detective in this movie and when his old friend is murdered he must take in his friends dirty, slobbering dog because he is well.
....a witness...thats right as ridiculous as it may seem Hooch is able to identify the killer with ease...which really isn't that unbelievable when you think of it...dogs are brilliant. I always get choked up near the end but it is because I have a soft spot for animals.
GOOD MOVIE! and one more thing....THIS IS NOT YOUR ROOM!
