Review of Turn Me On, Dammit! (2011) by Ray H — 18 Jun 2012
A modest, low-budget movie w/ a simple, yet pleasant, story. This is a fresh take on the coming-of-age story; from a young womans point-of-view.
The story and dialogue are not particularly outstanding. But, we feel a sympathy for our super-horny heroine. She is trying to deal w/ teen angst like teenagers everywhere.
The story unfolds in a mildly interesting manner. The writing could have been better. Our lead character, the sexually frustrated teen, Alma (Helene Bergstrom), helps to hold the film together. The are some mildly comedic moments, as when her mother dons ear plugs, because of Almas sexual moaning. I imagine its hard to sleep thru that.
Ill give this one a modest recommendation.
