Review of Turistas (2006) by Nathan N — 15 Feb 2009
Does for Brazillian tourism what Hostel did for holidaying in Slovakia. Apart from the sheer stupidity of the protagonists, and a couple of truly gut-wrenching bits of violence and gore, this film actually manages to maintain a reasonable level of tension and interest throughout.
And Josh Duhamel cuts a fine figure as the often shirtless hero.
