Review of Turistas (2006) by Shawn S — 21 Mar 2008
Turistas (Paradise Lost) was what I thought as a good horror flick. It's about a group of young adults (American and Australian) who are left stranded in a remote part of Brazil after a bus accident.
They find some fun and sun on a beach and when they wake up the next morning, their belongings including their passports and money have been stolen. Their adventure gets even worse after that. Turistas is much better than I expected and be warned, there are some pretty disturbing scenes.
