Review of Turistas (2006) by Laimis Z — 09 May 2008

Omfg. does this get any better? not another "american tourists in a foreign country" spin-off. I refuse to fall under the spell of this formula. and yes, it is exactly what you expect it to be.

stupid teenagers,foreign country, alcohol, sex, cliche one-dimensional characters, torture and gore, simplistic dialogue, nudity, locals...instead of liking these 'tourists' u actually end up hating them, so when the killing starts you really want them to die in the most cruel ways posible, but unfortunatelly most of those idiots manage to survive.

only one death scene "the operation" is worth something... don't eat before it though. the rest is really, and I mean REALLY, terrible. bad movie. bad!
