Review of Turistas (2006) by Bethie W — 15 Jul 2008

Very surprised at this movie, I started watching tentatively being leary of too much gore and torture. I had been told it was comparable to hostel, which I still refuse to watch. Anyway, this movie is nothing like hostel, other than kids on vacation.

It has its moments of ickiness, but the story keeps you watching anyway. I liked the harvesting organs story, I liked the acting, the underwater scenes were shot very well I could see what was going on.

..most of teh time. Seems long in places but all in all not a bad movie.
