Review of Turistas (2006) by John J — 14 Sep 2008

I really appreciated this film! True: the whole thing wasn't slasher gore-tastic, and it did take a while to get to that part. Unlike "Wolf Creek" which had over an hour of build and a few minutes of "suspense" but who the fuck cared because the first part was so slow and boring, I actually enjoyed the beginning stuff, and cared for the characters (even if it was in a cheesy hollywood movie way).

The action was fun (if a little brief) and all the cave stuff was exciting! Great underwater chase scene. It was fun! Some nervous moments and suspense crafted even in not that scary moments.
