Review of Turistas (2006) by Jason D — 21 Dec 2008
A group of supermodels become stranded when their shitty tour bus crashes in a remote Brazilian beach/jungle area. Intermittently cut between scenes of all of these gorgeous people living life up and having the time of their lives, there are scenes of a brutish Braziian doctor who harvests organs from young tourists and is readying nefarious hunters to have them grab more unsuspecting tourists.
As the movie goes further along, it's only a matter of time before these two sides meet up and culminate in a rather boring showdown that only really shows one gruesome moment (though it does happen to the hottest chick in the whole damn movie).
This I rather forgettable and not that interesting. If anything, it was fun to watch beautiful people suffering. Meh.
