Review of Turbo Kid (2015) by Jaime D — 05 Mar 2016

There are a couple of chuckles and a lot to make you smile in this novelty super retro film but it works best when it's doing pastiche rather than parody. For example the final big boss battle is so silly it almost spoils the warm fuzzy feeling generated by the first two thirds of of the film.

Almost. Worth a watch.
