By this point, was this a less popular property? Is that why the production value seems to have dropped so steeply from the small height it was at? Cuz this feels like a cheap fever dream. When we're given second-rate ninjas fighting second-rate costumed monsters, it becomes the kind of bad-fun we want in this franchise.
There's just not enough of that here. (SIDE NOTE: Actual lyric from a song in the movie - "as long as I exist, there's hope for the world." Gotta respect the confidence.).
