Nothing substantially wrong with this movie, but I found it almost impossible not to compare it to Cars. In the movie Cars, Lightning McQueen did not win either race but he and the characters around him became better "people", and succeeded.
In Turbo, victory seems to be essential to a happy ending, a more shallow message.
