Review of Tulpan (2009) by Dan S — 26 Apr 2009
Tulpan is an unclassifiable movie, well... a sort of dramatized documentary, with amazing story and comedy in it, great story that takes you to experience the harsh life of Kazakh herders, especially when having a pair big ears can already make life harder.
What I really love about this film is the humor of it - Prince Charles and the angry camel mother. The visual design of the extended unbroken scenes are also very incredibly interesting - some are certainly extraordinary.
Delightful movie, not a film you would enjoy if blockbuster and action is what you are after.
