Review of Tulpan (2009) by Nathan B — 27 Sep 2009
Some really incredible scenery and a palpably humanistic core really enraptured me. To watch the film is to be transported to another world, as contrived a compliment as it sounds. Great scenes with children and animals too.
It feels so exotic, the environment in the film, but there are enough universal elements that make it a quiet triumph in it's own right.
