Review of Tulip Fever (2017) by Nadjib R — 08 Nov 2017
The bizarre 8% rating from rotten ð??? must be from 'bladerunner' teenagers who do not have the foggiest how constrained life was in the 17 century in the Calvinistic Netherlands. Contrary to all their rating nonsense, this movie brilliantly painted the atmosphere of this exciting period in the Dutch history.
The story was simple and clear, the period staging and costumes very detailed and convincing and the characters chosen brilliantly, as was their play. It is unbelievable how stupid some ratings can be by people who have no idea what they are looking at.
This movie deserves better, see for yourself!
