Review of Tugboat Annie (1933) by Greg W — 02 Jan 2015
An impossible to resist charming light comedy about seasoned couple who run a tugboat & their son who eventually becomes the youngest ship captain in history.
The film lays solely on the performance of Tugboat Annie herself & her sozzled husband played by Wallace Berry.
It's such a simple film but made so much enjoyable by the little things...it also has a lot of heart especially the tug crash & cheque scene. It's a must see film!!!!
